What I really want for Mothering Sunday is a lie-in and a cup of tea brought to me in bed, along with a breakfast of poached eggs on toast and a kiss from my diva child. Unfortunately, Sunday morning swimming lessons mean this is pretty unlikely. So, failing the lie-in, I’d like something pretty that I can actually use.

And that’s where the little montage above comes in. All of these things were discovered via my latest obsession, Shopcade. I found this site through a blogger I love – Dexterous Diva – who describes it as a little bit like Pinterest but (probably) more addictive.

Last week, when my husband asked me if I had any requests for Mothering Sunday, I told him that if he was going to be spending cold hard cash on me, I wanted it to be something I could use.
