I recently started the 5:2 Fasting Diet. It’s the one where you only eat 500 calories two days of the week (not consecutive days) and eat normally the rest of the time. It’s also the diet that everyone seems to be on, including my own parents. The reason for my sudden interest in health? I’ll admit, it’s partly vanity, but it’s also partly to do with wanting to feel, just, better.
It’s the same reason I’ve decided to up my fruit and veg intake, as well as drinking lots more water. I want to feel healthy again and am hoping it might help me battle the lack of sleep and give me a bit more energy.
