I remember telling mini that what he had just done was a yorn and him telling me “No mummy, it is my body stalling” I think that is something to do with how bad I drive!

Lovely blog post, the way children learn language and understand it absolutely fascinates me. I would love to ‘switch off’ a few things sometimes…my work, annoying people, etc…kids have the right idea!

H is 2.5 now and just recently when he asks “Where Daddy” and I reply with “Daddy’s working darling” he asks “Why?” hands held out questioningly and all. So I tell him Daddy needs to earn some pennies after which H replies “For Mamma and me?”. Such innocence.

That is so lovely! My daughter is nearly three and she is quite a confident speaker and makes up these wonderful stories now out of everyday situations. It is lovely when they are this age. Such a beautiful photo too.
