This was a chilli pepper growing in my garden last week, before my feisty 21 month old daughter decided to decapitate it.
I thought it was a fitting way to begin this next chapter of my blogging career, as a symbol of hope and new beginnings. Actually, it’s a pretty bloody rubbish symbol because I’ve had to chuck it in the bin, but the thought’s still there.
Anyway, what I’m trying to say, is that it’s time for a change. Spring has sprung, my work life is picking up pace and I now need my blog to reflect that. So, here I am. Over at my sparkly new self-hosted site.
What this move means to you if you’re a regular reader:
You’ll need to resubscribe either via email or RSS feed to THIS site. If you don’t then you won’t automatically be updated when I publish a new post.
What this move means to you if you’re a PR company:
I can now offer advertising on Mother’s Always Right, along with sponsored posts. If you’d like to work with me, you can find out more details on my PR and Advertising page.
Other than that, nothing’s changed. Frog is still 21 months old. She’s still not walking. She still has tantrums. And I still like wine on a Friday night.
Some things will remain the same forever.

Poor chilli!! I have a pile which is now resembling a compostable mess which is years of poor decapitated flowers an whipped off leaves! It’s a child’s law that parents ARE NOT allowed to have or own anything pretty or valuable…….unless its broken
Molly said:
I’m rapidly learning this the hard way!

OOoooh kids can be so cruel, can’t they?! Anyhow good luck with the new start. As I mostly read you via Facebook, I’m not sure what this means to me (can you ask the geek please?!) – assume I’ll still get the updates on there?!
Molly said:
All the posts will still be updated there too Steph. I shall ask the geek for you anyway though! x

Of course I won’t – just make sure you subscribe again via email. We’d never forget Granny from the North! x

Presumably the age, mobility and tantrums are not forever but I get what you mean. Liking your new digs.

Thanks lovely, on the hunt for some new cushions to brighten up the place.

mine is white no sugar please. Not sure why you moved but hope you are settling well into your new home. xx

*Passes tea*. Lots of reasons for moving. One of them being having more control over my own site, being able to offer advertising (which is against WordPress hosting rules) and just fancying a change. It’s like moving from a rented house where you can’t paint the walls to having a mortgage and being able to suddenly decorate and put up an extension. Exciting!

Poor chilli. We have some half grown carrots that have experienced a similar fate. Happy New Home wishes and all that!
Molly said:
Thank you for the moving in card! And yes, poor chilli. It would seem F isn’t in to spicy food…

Welcome to the world of self hosting. You need Mr.Bloom to work his magic on that chili plant.
Molly said:
If only Mr Bloom lived with us *sigh*.

It’s all looking good, lady!

Ah, thank you. Took three nights of hard graft but I’m still alive!

That chilli seedling looks rather like the thing that’s started sprouting on my chin. Congratulations on your brave adventure. Wish everyone wouldn’t do these things all at once though because I’m Against change!
Molly said:
Don’t tell anyone, but I have a stubborn chin hair that’s also a bit similar to that chilli. Sorry for the change. But you know what they say, “Change is the future”. Actually, I just made that up. But you know what I mean…
