It really is a tricky balance! I was talking to my mum about it and she said there were probably just as many tricky bits with me and my sister but she’d kind of blanked them out. It’s human nature – we always remember the good bits don’t we? It’s why we go on to have more babies after surviving the birth and sleep deprivation – we forget all that stuff!!

Make pancakes at the weekend and freeze them?! But beyond the pancakes I know what you mean, it’s an uneasy balance isn’t it, between remembering the good bits, and being honest that it’s not all sunshine and unicorns.

ha ha, yes …. yes I hate making pancakes — why do we believe that they are a lovely thing to do? Messy and time consuming – I agree with the others tho – pre made is the way to go, and still score mum points.
