Who got the big one?
We had to share it – even I’m not that greedy!
bagsie the white one !
It was rather tasty…
Mine hens sometimes do this – and I get a pointy egg every so often too!
I’d be bloody worried if a chicken laid that one – it’s about the size of a chicken on its own!
It’s like the egg metaphor of motherhood!
I never thought of it like that – very true.
wow now that’s a big egg …
Enormous.
That has to be a double yolke-er
Not a double yolk-er, but a HUGE yolker!
Giant egg = Giant cake
I wish. Should have used it for baking instead of scrambled it – would have been delicious!
Looks like a Rhea or Ostrich egg?
Wow, you certainly know your eggs! It’s a Rhea egg, from Chewton Mendip in Somerset. Tasted lovely scrambled.
