One of the best things about working from home is being able to still enjoy breakfast and lunch with my husband and daughter during the school holidays. One of the worst things about working from home is not being able to join in when I can hear them having fun downstairs.

We’ve spent the last couple of weeks since moving to Devon, alternating between days out together and days at home. Days out mean I am often up late working in the evenings. Days at home mean I can buckle on down with work in the office while Frog is kept entertained by her dad in the garden or living room.

The (self-proclaimed) Northern Love Machine is a teacher, so he’s around lots at the moment. And it’s been lovely to see him getting to enjoy some quality time with our three year old while he’s off work.  Continue reading »
