I had high hopes of finding a spare half hour to write a heart-felt blog post before Christmas. It was going to be funny, thoughtful and nostalgic, all littered with artfully taken photographs.
Unfortunately life has other ideas. I’m currently typing one-handed, with a baby in the other hand, half a mince pie in my mouth and a four year old hanging off my back asking “IS IT CHRISTMAS YET MUMMY?” on repeat, while Noddy Holder screeches in the background. So that amazing blog post I had planned is going to have to wait.
Anyway, I didn’t want to let the big day pass without saying a huge thank you to everyone who has read my blog over the past year. This is where I’ve charted my pregnancy and written about growing from a family of three to four this year. Thank you so much for reading and for leaving comments. It sounds gushy, but it really does make writing this blog worth it.
Have a wonderful Christmas!
PS. Any tips on preventing a small child waking up in the middle of the night (otherwise known as 4am) on Christmas Day are much appreciated…

Happy Christmas Molly, plus the family. No advice I’m afraid, other than taking them for very, very longs walks, feeding the ducks, playing Pooh sticks and keeping everything very calm (all of which we’ve done today). The earliest ours EVER woke up was 7 am. Result!! Smug or what? Now we are having difficulty keeping them awake on Christmas Eve!

We managed a 6.30am start which was a welcome relief to the 4am one I’d been expecting!
