– Word count: 800-1500 words (we’re flexible for great content!)

– Original content not published elsewhere

Formatting and Style:

– Write in a conversational yet informative tone

– Include bullet points or numbered lists for key takeaways

– Add subheadings to organize your content effectively

– Feel free to use tech metaphors that other parents can relate to

– Incorporate relevant software terms and concepts, explaining them for non-tech parents

– Use examples from various family scenarios to illustrate your points

– Consider adding a brief bio highlighting your parenting and tech background

Image and Code Requirements:

– Include at least one high-quality, relevant image per article

– If including code snippets, ensure they’re simple and well-explained

– Images and code should be original or properly licensed (provide source attribution)

How to Submit

  1. Email your article idea to Brian@mothersalwaysright.com
  2. Include a brief outline of your proposed article (2-3 sentences per main point)
  3. Tell us about your parenting experience and software/tech background
  4. If we like your idea, we’ll invite you to submit a full draft

What Happens Next

Our team of parent-editors with software expertise will carefully review your submission. We might suggest some refinements to make it even more valuable for our readers. 

We aim to respond to all submissions within two weeks. If accepted, we’ll work with you to polish your article for publication.

Terms of Publication

– You retain the copyright to your original work

– We reserve the right to edit for clarity, style, and length

– Your article will be exclusively featured on our site for at least 30 days before you can republish it elsewhere (with attribution to our site)

– We may update the article in the future to keep information current
