London Zoo
London Zoo is home to over 10,000 animals, including marching leafcutter ants, butterflies, bullfrogs, lemurs, hippos, frogs, crocodiles, giraffes, and the must-visit 193kg silverback gorilla.
Your kids can also join the team of zookeepers as they talk about and feed some of the most popular animals, including gibbons, lions, penguins, gorillas, and tigers.
In addition, kids between 11 and 15 years old can become a keeper for the day, giving them the chance to spend a morning learning about a range of species and what it takes to be a zookeeper.
Opening hours: In February, the zoo is open from 10am to 5pm. From the 30th March 2025 onwards, the zoo is open from 10am to 6pm.
